How to Buy
I am a qualified and experienced Master Model Ship Builder and here I am offering Museum quality ship models. To be truthful, few model ship builders are true masters of the art and they are considered such through their uncompromising level of their workmanship. I have been chosen to practise my art for the Malta Maritime Museum and for other Museums around the Mediterranean. For this work my 30 years experience in model making gave me lots of experience and expertise.
Don't be discouraged if you don't find what you wish in the portfolio. I have such a vast experience of ship models that I can custom build the model you require. The approximate dimensions are listed against each picture. However, the dimensions can be smaller or greater according to your wishes - prices will change accordingly. How to Restore your Model
Restoration of ship models is an important and ongoing part of my work. I have worked on all kinds of models, large and small, and all of them had something to teach me. Restoring antiques is supremely interesting and instructive. One spends days and weeks or sometimes more, trying to restore one piece and learns all its secrets. The information one receives trying to match the original construction is unavailable in any institutional setting. One also has the opportunity to work on some outstanding examples of maritime art, such as illustrated here.
Restoration work is billed on an hourly basis, plus any associated costs. Any estimate can be given, but the final bill will reflect the actual hours worked with any other expenses involved for the material of the restoration.
