M.S.T. Tug Scottish Terrier
The model is built out of wood to a scale of 1:60 and represents TANAC 58 class tug boat that was originally built for the British Admiralty to serve in HM Naval Bases. These were small boats intended to tow and move lighters and other small crafts in naval dockyards. TANAC 58 was transferred from Venice to Malta in 1946 and in 1968 she was sold to the Mediterranean Salvage and Towage Co. Ltd (M.S.T.) All the Tug boats of this class were built in Canada. Their length was 65 feet and had a gross registered tonnage of 67 tons and a speed of 9 knots.
